Mary Ann Wilson, 96, of Columbus, formerly of Byhalia, died Jan. 1, 2021. She was a Presbyterian and a homemaker. She also taught in various towns in Mississippi as well as traveling abroad to teach in Germany and Newfoundland before returning to Byhalia to continue her career as a teacher and school librarian.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 9 at Byhalia Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves her nephews, John Stanback, Brad Stanback, both of Columbus; and a niece, Janet Stanback Austin of Columbus.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Rev. Don Wilson.
