Mary Alice Rooker Wakefield

Mary Alice Rooker Wakefield, 84, of Hickory Flat, died March 29, 2019, at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly Springs. She was a homemaker and a retired factory worker and a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church in Hickory Flat.

Services were held at 4 p.m. on March 31 at Flat Rock Baptist Church. Bro. Randy Buse and Bro. Jason Howell officiated. Burial was in Flat Rock Cemetery. McBride Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four daughters, Rhonda Ash of Hickory Flat, Louise White (Randy) of Ripley, Tenn., Ro-Ann Moore (Glynn) of Va., Jan Koch (Rich) of N.C.; one son, John Criscoe of Ripley, Miss.; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three husbands, Grady Renick, James Roy Criscoe, and Gene Wakefield; one son, Allen Renick; one daughter, Linda Renick; two brothers, Jack Rooker and Bobby Rooker; and one great-grandson, J.J. McDonald.
