Marvin Richmond

Marvin Richmond, 64, of Olive Branch and formerly of Byhalia, died Monday, Sept. 14, 2026, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.

He was a contractor and attended Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Victoria.

Services were held at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026, at the chapel of J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home in Holly Springs. Cremation followed the service. Visitation was held Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 11:25 a.m. at the funeral home, located at 125 N. Memphis St. in Holly Springs.

He leaves his mother, Vera Taylor Richmond of Olive Branch; four sisters, Carolyn Richmond and Vivian Richmond, both of Olive Branch, Verna Sutherland of Memphis, Tennessee, and Lorraine Jones of Byhalia; and two brothers, Narvin Richmond and Lynwood Richmond, both of Olive Branch.

He was preceded in death by his father, Howard Johnson Richmond, and a brother, Howard Richmond Jr. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home of Holly Springs was in charge of arrangements.
