Marvin Allen Powers Sr.

Marvin Allen Powers Sr., 72, of Holly Springs, died April 7, 2022, at his home. He was a member of Chulahoma MB Church where he served as a church deacon, Sunday school teacher, and member of the male chorus. He was a retired welding supervisor at S F I, Inc. of Tennessee and a U.S. Army vietnam veteran.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 15 from 12-2:30 p.m. and Chulahoma MB Church from 4-6 p.m. and April 16 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Lonnie Whitfield will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Patricia Lucas Powers; daughter, Chauntelle Page (Gregory) of Holly Springs; sons, Marvin Powers Jr. of Holly Springs, Martin Luther Powers (Millie) of Southaven; sisters, Eleanor Marion (Anthony) of Holly Springs, Teresa Williams of Olive Branch; brothers, Calvin Powers (Patricia M.) of Memphis, Tenn., Roy Powers (Ida) of Holly Springs and six grandchildren.
