Martha Ree Morgan

Martha Ree Morgan, 86, of New Albany, formerly of Byhalia, died August 20, 2022, at Union County Health and Rehab in New Albany. She was a member of Flint Hill MB Church in Etta and was a farmer/homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on August 26 from 3:30-6 p.m. and on August 27 at Flint Hill MB Church from 2-2:55 p.m. with services at 3 p.m. Pastor Lindsey Sanford Jr. will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her sons, Johnny Harding of Ashland, Milton Hardin, Travis Harden, both of Myrtle; daughters, Bertha Woods of Byhalia, Alice Hodges of Peoria, Ill.; sisters, Ruthie Ann Cowans of Byhalia, Ruthie Mae Robinson, Corina Hall, both of Memphis, Tenn.; brother, Bennie Lee McNeil of Olive Branch; 19 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her children, Cleo McNeil and Leon Elliott.
