Martha Ann Bryson Isom

Martha Ann Bryson Isom, 71, of Michigan City, died March 20, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Foundation of Life Christian Center in Lamar where she served as the head usher. She was a teacher's assistant at Ashland High School.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 25 from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and on March 26 at Foundation of Life Christian Center from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. James Patterson, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Samuel Chapel MB Church Cemetery in Ashland.

She leaves her sons, Bobby Bryson (Mary Ann) of Holly Springs, Rodney Bryson, Winslow Isom, both of Michigan City; sisters, Annie Jean Spight of Holly Springs, Lue Ethel Garmon of Michigan City, Vera Jones of Country Club Hills, Ill., Francie Townsell of Ashland, Iester Bryson of Michigan City, Tinny Ann Bryson of Ashland, Mary Nell Bryson of Dallas, Texas; brothers, Jessie Bryson Jr., Jerry Bryson, both of Michigan City, Jimmy Bryson (LaTonya) of Memphis, Tenn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Winston Isom; and sister, Dorothy Allen.
