Marshall “Bossy” Malone

Marshall “Bossy” Malone, 90, of Byhalia, died August 10, 2024, at Baptist Hospital in Collierville, Tenn. He was a member of Newell Chapel CME Church and was a retired concrete finisher for Jimmy Edwards and Son Construction Company.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Aug. 16 from 3-6 p.m. Services will be held at New Mt. Gilliam MB Church in Byhalia on Aug. 17 at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Curtis Nelson will officiate.

He leaves his children, Marilyn Malone of Victoria, Perry Malone of Olive Branch, Lorenzo Malone (Elois) of Olive Branch, Margie Neal of Collierville, Natalie Hankins (James) of Byhalia, Rodney Malone (JoAnn) of Victoria; sisters, Naomi Malone of Victoria, Omega Larkins (Major) of West Point; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Elizabeth Hamm-Malone; sisters, Lola Smith and Vennie C. Jones.
