Mark Nunnally Jr.

Mark Nunnally Jr., 83, of Holly Springs, formerly of Aurora, Ill., died February 15, 2025, at Alliance HealthCare Hospice in Holly Springs. He was a member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church where he sang in the male chorus. He was a caretaker at Spring Lake Cemetery in Aurora.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 22 from 12:30 p.m. until 3 p.m.; and on Feb. 23 at Adolphus Chapel CME Church from 12-12:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Rev. Willie Ward will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He leaves a daughter, Cathy Cooks of Aurora; sisters, Bessie M. Pegues, Mattie N. Moore, both of Holly Springs, Catherine Pegues of Aurora, Annie Hollowell of Holly Springs, Olivia Stanford of Lamar, Connie Jones of Holly Springs; brothers, Louis Nunnally of Kansas City, Kansas, Robert Nunnally, Joe Nunnally, Bennie Nunnally, all of Holly Springs; and one grandson.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Susie Glover; brothers, Gene Nunnally and Willie Sylvester Nunnally.
