Mark Anthony Howery

Mark Anthony Howery, 50, of Holly Springs, died Aug. 18, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of St. Luke MB Church in Rossville, Tenn., and a former lead man at AOC of Piperton, Tenn.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Aug. 27 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 12 noon on Aug. 28 at Foundation of Life Christian Learning Center Cemetery in Lamar. Rev. Linda Key will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Paula Wilson Howery of Hickory Flat; two children, LaBrandon Howery, Markeyla Antwana Howery, both of Holly Springs; six sisters, Earlean Boston, Marilynn Ayers, both of West Memphis, Ark., Verlean Dowdy of Sugar Grove, Ill., Mary Sue Daugherty of Collierville, Tenn., Barbara J. Howery of Lamar, Jackie L. Howery of Houston, Texas; two brothers, Lenton Howery of Joplin, MO, and Morris Smith of Memphis.

Preceeded in death by his parents, Prince Howery and Vera Louise Bryson Ayers; grandparents who raised him, Chlorine "Plank" Howery and Papa Jack Howery; siblings, David, Eloise, Shirley and Sharon.
