Marjean Taylor Myatt

Marjean Taylor Myatt, 69, of Holly Springs, died April 3, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Olive Branch. She was a member of Yarbrough Chapel CME Church and an ordained elder in the CME Church. She retired in 2013 as program director at ICS Head Start.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on April 6 at Anderson Chapel CME Church. Burial was in Hill Crest Cemetery. Rev. Dr. Clementine Mays, presiding elder of the Olive Branch/Sardis District in the CME Church, officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Edward D. Myatt; a sister, Rubye Poole of Arlington, Tenn.; and four brothers, Charlie E. Taylor Jr., Alvin Taylor, both of Holly Springs, Otha Taylor of Olive Branch and George Taylor of West Point.

She was preceded in death by a brother, John Taylor.
