Marilyn Joyner, 76, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Slayden, died Dec. 25, 2017, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis. She was a Baptist and a medical insurance clerk.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 28 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel, with burial in Hill Crest Cemetery.
She leaves two daughters, Renee Semler (Kevin), Jennifer Joyner, all of Memphis; a brother, Elwood Carpenter Jr. of Conyers, Ga.; a sister, Sarah Gullick of Lamar; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
