Marguerite Mathis, 92, of Collierville, Tenn., died Nov. 25, 2016, in Germantown, Tenn. The widow of Louis Winford Mathis, she was a member of First Baptist Church in Collierville. She was a school teacher for Memphis (Tenn.) City Schools.
Services were held at 11 a.m., on Nov. 30 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Magnolia Cemetery in Collierville.
She leaves two sons, Bobby Mathis (Linda) of Mt. Pleasant, George Mathis (Sheryl) of Orange City, Fla.; a sister, Waurene Going of Byhalia; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
