Margaret Sullivant Brown Jourdan

Margaret Sullivant Brown Jourdan, 67, formerly of Holly Springs, died December 24, 2023, in Oxford. She was a member of the Methodist Church and was in elementary education.

A celebration of life was held at 2 p.m. on Dec. 28 at First United Methodist Church in Holly Springs. A reception followed at Kate Freeman Clark Art Gallery. Waller Funeral Home in Oxford was in charge of arrangements. Memorials may be sent to First United Methodist Church, 175 E. Van Dorn Ave., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

She leaves her daughters, Lynn Rowe (Jonathan) of Memphis, Tenn., Margie Havens (Brandon) of Oxford, Dabney McManus (Wilson) of Denver, Colo.; brother, Dr. Henry Sullivant (Terre) of Memphis; and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Margaret and Henry Sullivant; brothers, Lacy Martin and Dr. Ben Martin.
