Margaret Holmes

Margaret Holmes, 90, of Mantachie, died March 2, 2021, at Sanctuary Hospice in Tupelo. She was a Baptist and a homemaker.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on March 4 at Clear Creek Cemetery. Holly Springs Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
She leaves two sons, Garland Holmes (Deborah) of Potts Camp, Perry Holmes of Mooreville; three daughters, Alicen Holmes of Ripley, Jo Margaret Chrestman of Potts Camp, Dale McMillen (David) of Mantachie; two sisters, Bessie Shoffner of Hamilton, Ala., Donnie Drewery of Red Banks; 13 grandchildren, several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceeded in death by her husband, Lonnie Holmes; one son, Dennis Holmes; and one daughter-in-law, Rita Holmes.
