Mahon Elton Jones Jr., 72, of Holly Springs, died on November 3, 2020, at his home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Holly Springs.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lois Slayden Jones; and one sister, Marjean Jones Waldon of Tamarac, Fla.
A graveside service was held at 11 a.m. on Nov. 7 in Hill Crest Cemetery with the Holly Springs Funeral Home in charge.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church, 164 Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635, or to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
