Magnolia Moton

Magnolia Moton, 72, of Holly Springs, died March 4, 2017, at her home. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church, where she was in the Missionary Society and a senior choir member.

Visitation will be held from 2-7 p.m., and with the family from 6-7 p.m. on March 10 at the funeral home and on March 11 from 10-10:55 a.m. at the church.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on March 11 at Strawberry MB Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Willie Hoey will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves five sons, Eddie Moton of Oxford, Derrick Moton of Jonesboro, Ark., Clark Moton, Terry Moton, Robert Moton, all of Holly Springs; four daughters, Jacqueline Moton of Fort Mill, S.C., Delois Bowen of Red Banks, Patricia Moton, Camilla Moton, both of Holly Springs; two sisters, Linda Manning of Holly Springs, Bobbie Moton of Chicago, Ill.; three brothers, Lucious Moton of Rockford, Ill., James Moton of Memphis, Tenn., Cleroy Moton of Holly Springs; 28 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Dorothy Moton.
