Maggie "RyJane" Freeman

Maggie "RyJane" Freeman, 98, of Holly Springs, died April 24, 2023, at Diversicare of Southaven. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church where she served on the Mother's Board and as a missionary. She was a member of Heroines of Jericho Court 14. She was retired from the Holly Springs School System.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 28 from 3-6 p.m. and on April 29 at Strawberry MB Church from 9-9:55 a.m. with services at 10 a.m. Rev. Archie Bowen will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Barbara Beard of Holly Springs; sons, Wallace Freeman, Daryl Freeman, both of Holly Springs; 17 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Freeman; children, Willie Earl Jones, Larry Freeman; siblings, Fannie Martin, Grover Lawrence Sr., Edgar Jones Sr., Estell Jones Sr., and Willie Jones Sr.
