Maggie Mae Luellen

Maggie Mae Luellen, 86, of Lamar, died July 12, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Hudsonville CME Church where she served as usher. She was a Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star and retired from Marshall County School System.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on July 16 at Hudsonville CME Church. Elder Bobby G. Wilson officiated. Burial was in Hudsonville Church Cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her children, Leo Durocher Luellen, Harry Belafonte Luellen, both of Memphis, Tenn., Janet Sharron Luellen of Lamar, Audrey L. McShan of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Dr. Tonya WalkerBarnes of Collierville, Tenn., Norma O. Luellen of North Port, Ala.; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Rounkie Luellen; siblings, Hennie Mae Richards, Gladys Harris, Fannie Mae Brown, Julian Luellen and Carneal Luellen.
