Maggie Ann Washington McKinney

Maggie Ann Washington McKinney, 68, of Byhalia, died Feb. 25, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. She was a member of Mt. Sinai MB Church where she was a former church usher. She was a seamstress at Franklin Furniture in Olive Branch.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on March 4 at Mt. Sinai MB Church in Byhalia. Rev. Chris Williams officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Elbert McKinney; a son, Mark Christopher Washington of Byhalia; two daughters, Toyota McKinney of Byhalia, Jacqueline L. McKinney of Olive Branch; three sisters, Pearlena Polk of Milwaukee, Wisc., Linda Washington of Olive Branch, Dorothy DeBerry of Byhalia; four brothers, Lester Lee Washington Jr., Roosevelt Washington and Leroy Washington, all of Memphis, Richard Mark Washington of Olive Branch; and a granddaughter.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Ethel Mae Barksdale; and four brothers, Tolbert L. Washington, MacLarry Washington, Willie Lee "Billy" Washington, and Robert Floyd Washington.
