
MaDora Anderson
MaDora Anderon, age 91, Holly Springs, died Thursday, Aug. 13 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.
She was a retired cafeteria manager for the Holly Springs School District, a member of Anderson Chapel CME Church, served on the Usher Board and sang in the church choir.
Visitation was held at the J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home, 125 N. Memphis Street in Holly Springs on Friday, Aug. 21, from 3-6 p.m. and at the Anderson Chapel CME Church in Holly Springs on Saturday, Aug. 22 from 10-10:55 a.m. with services to begin at 11 a.m. at the church. Burial followed at the Cottrell Memorial Garden.
Survivors include three sons: David B. Anderson Sr. of Etta, Arnold Keith Anderson of Holly Springs, and Henry Edward Anderson of Potts Camp; granddaughter and care giver Jametra M. Bagley of Holly Springs; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters: Johnnie Ree Anderson Johnson and Sharon LaJune Anderson Jones; and five siblings: Iristine Anderson, Edward Ivory Anderson, Henry Anderson, George Anderson, and Eugene Anderson.
