Mack Author Traylor

Mack Author Traylor, 70, of Lamar, died April 27, 2018. He attended Old Salem Elementary and worked at Connor Pottery for 25 years, until he retired.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on May 5 at Hardaway MB Church in Michigan City, where he was a member. Burial was in the church cemetery. Elder Roosevelt Traylor officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Gearline Traylor; his mother, Lena Mae Traylor of Michigan City; three sisters, Dorothy Mae Bell of Grand Junction, Tenn., Dorothy Neil Brooks (Robert) of Memphis, Tenn., Fannie Mae Gibson (Billy) of Bolivar, Tenn.; and seven brothers, Odell Traylor (Mary) of Chicago, Ill., Roosevelt Traylor (Hazel), James Jr. Traylor (Cynthia), Willie Traylor (Betty), James L. Traylor, Johnnie Traylor (Yolanda), Robert Traylor (Elizabeth), all of Michigan City.
