Machell Kay Hoey

Machell Kay Hoey, 35, of Holly Springs, died April 17, 2017, at Alliance HealthCare System. She attended Holly Springs Schools and was a community volunteer. She was a homemaker.

Services were held at 12 noon on April 22 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries, with burial in Cottrell Memorial Garden. Rev. Willie E. Hoey officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her mother, Barbara Jean Reynolds-Hoey of Holly Springs; her father, Sammie L. Hoey of Holly Springs; three brothers, Michael A. Hoey, Lonnie C. Hoey, Paris Scruggs, all of Holly Springs; and two sisters, Mary Ann Hoey-Arouna, Evelyn T. Hoey-Oloko (Olayiwola), both of Germantown, Md.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Hal and Queen Reynolds, Frances Hoey and Gillan Suggs.
