Lurline Conner Tate

Lurline Conner Tate, 87, of Rossville, Tenn., died February 5, 2023, at Methodist Hospital of Germantown in Germantown, Tenn. She was a member of Concord MB Church in Slayden and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Feb. 10 from 3-5:30 p.m. and at Concord MB Church on Feb. 11 from 1010:55 a.m. with services at 11 a.m. Rev. Willie C. Conner will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Sarah King of Collierville, Tenn, Mary Lee Ngbe of Rossville, Minnie Rhyan of Holly Springs; sons, Frank Lee Tate of Hennington, Tenn., David Lee Tate of Southaven, Robert Tate of Rossville; sisters, Annie Lindsey of Slayden, Ruthie Hampton of Holly Springs, Nancy Luellen of Byhalia, Rena McGauhey of Memphis,Tenn., Betty Barrington of Los Angeles, Calif., Bertha Robinson of Memphis; brothers, Curtis McKinney of Memphis, John Henry McGauhey of Holly Springs, John Kid McGauhey, Daniel Rogers, both of Memphis, Sam McGauhey of Slayden; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Tate and several siblings.
