Lura B. Finley Moss

Lura B. Finley Moss, 69, of Holly Springs, died July 28, 2025, at Great Oaks Rehabilitation and Health Care in Byhalia. She was a member of Rising Star MB Church where she served as an usher. She worked as a cashier at WalMart and retired in quality control from Sunbeam Inc.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on August 3 at Rising Star MB Church. Rev. Robert McClain, pastor, officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, Dura "Spook" Moss; daughter, Terica Wicks (Shauntaurus) of Olive Branch; sons, Michael Moss (Anna) of Horn Lake, Rodrico Moss of Holly Springs, Ventez Brooks of Memphis, Tenn.; sisters, Mary Holland, Roselette McAdams, both of Holly Springs; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jab and Lula M. Craine Finley; siblings, Mae Lee Finley, Carrie Lee Finley, Jab Finley Jr., Tommie Edward Finley, Laura Finley.
