Luecresia Jeffries Turnage

Luecresia Jeffries Turnage, 65, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Waterford, died Aug. 22, 2018, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. She was a church usher and a retired laborer at Warehouse Distribution Center.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Aug. 31 from 2-7 p.m. and with the family from 6-7 p.m.; and at the church Sept. 1 from 10 to 10:55 a.m.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sept. 1 at Wilkins Chapel CME Church, where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Pastor Lexine Smith will officiate. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She leaves four daughters, Lacherlyn Jeffries, LaShanda Turnage, Teneia Turnage and Shronda Love, all of Memphis; three sons, Tracy Jeffries, Ivory Turnage, Terrell Turnage, all of Memphis; two sisters, Betty Martin of Waterford, Lela Perteet of Memphis; three brothers, Eddie Jeffries of Holly Springs, Alfred Jeffries, Ervin Jeffries, both of Waterford; and 11 grandchildren.
