Lucy Bean Reynolds

Lucy Bean Reynolds, 100, of Holly Springs, died June 9, 2019, at her home. The widow of Clint Reynolds, she was a member of Powell Chapel MB Church where she served as a church mother. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held on June 14 from 1 to 7 p.m., with family from 6-7 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and from 10-10:55 a.m. at Powell Chapel MB Church. Services will be at 11 a.m. Rev. Dr. Ira Reynolds will officiate. Burial will be in Shiloh MB Church Cemetery in Ashland.

She leaves three daughters, Lucy Boga, Judy Tallie, Lizzie Reynolds, all of Holly Springs; one son, Rev. Dr. Ira Reynolds of Charlotte, N.C.; 16 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by five children, Calvin Boga, Vance Reynolds, Willie Reynolds, Chester Reynolds, Mable Ruth Reynolds; and eight siblings, Charles, Annie, William, Augusta, Rufus, Nancy, Beasley and Daisy.
