Lucinda Anderson

Lucinda Anderson, 92, of Michigan City, died February 13, 2023. She was a member of Sims Chapel MB Church.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 24 from 4-6 p.m. and one hour before the service at 2:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Sims Chapel MB Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves four sons, Jimmy Joe Anderson Jr. (Sandra) of Walnut, Clyde Cooper of St. Louis, Mo., Willie James Anderson (Brenda) of Walls, John Lee Anderson (Ruby) of Michigan City; six daughters, Gloria Jean Bates (JB), Ida Mae Griggs, Margaret Cooper, all of Memphis, Tenn., JoAnne Anderson, Diane Marie Anderson (Raymond Sanders), all of Michigan City, Denise Dennis of Olive Branch; one sister, Sarah Ann Frost of Memphis; 36 grandchildren, 84 great-grandchildren, and 41 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Joe Anderson, daughter, Annie Jo Anderson; and brother, Gary Cooper.
