Luches McKinney Jr.

Luches McKinney Jr., 70, of Holly Springs, died May 7, 2021, at Baptist Memorial HospitalNorth MS in Oxford. He was a member of New Hope CME Church in Red Banks and was a retired painter/welder at Griffin Inc.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on May 13 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on May 14 at Pleasant Grove MB Church Cemetery in Red Banks. Rev. A. Neely will officiate.

He leaves four children, Patricia McKinney, Sharon Rogers, both of Holly Springs, Shawanda McKinney of Liberty, Mo., Kevin Walton of Holly Springs; one sister, Brenda Waller of Holly Springs; one brother, Andrew Howell of Coldwater; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Jones McKinney; two children, Gary McKinney, Cecelia McKinney; siblings, Charlie McKinney, James Howell, Magnolia Wiseman, Cherry Mae McCool, Willie Mae Fulton and Sheila Waller.
