Louise Harriett Tomlinson Bailey

Louise Harriett Tomlinson Bailey, 79, of Red Banks, formerly of Gary, Ind., died January 29, 2023, at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove MB Church where she was in the church choir. She was a unit secretary at St. Francis Hospital.

Services were held at 2 p.m. at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks on Feb. 5. Rev. Albroderick Neely officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves a step-mother, Ruth Tomlinson of Merced, Calif.; sisters, Darlene DuPree of Tuscon, Ariz., Dorene Tomlinson of San Jose, Calif., Marcel Ellis of Lynwood, Calif., Marsha Tomlinson of Merced, Deniece Tomlinson of Oakland, Calif.; brothers, Roger Tomlinson of Merced, Harvey Tomlinson Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif., Dennis Tomlinson of Oakland, and DeRoy Tomlinson of Minneapolis, Minn.

She was preceded in death by a husband, Tommie Bailey.
