Louise Elliott Cowan

Louise Elliott Cowan, 77, of Benton County, died January 15, 2025, in her home. She was a member of South Ashland Church of Christ and a social worker at United Community Action.

Visitation was held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on Jan. 24 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and on Jan. 25 at Ashland Church of Christ from 1-1:55 p.m. with services at 2 p.m. Bro. William Colburn officiated. Burial was in the South Ashland Church of Christ Cemetery.

She leaves her husband, Thomas R. Cowan; daughters, Tawanda Campbell of Ashland, Teresa Cowan of New Albany; son, Thomas C. Cowan of Ashland; sister, Emma Royston of Benton County; brother, Charles Robert Elliott of Holly Springs; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lee Chester Elliott and Arthur "June" Elliott.
