Louis Edward Thomas

Louis Edward Thomas, 74, of Byhalia, died March 18, 2023. He was a member of Isaac Chapel Christian Methodist Church, a truck driver and a U.S. Army veteran.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on March 26 at Isaac Chapel Christian Methodist Church. Burial will be at a later date in West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery in Memphis, Tenn. Coleman Funeral Home in Olive Branch was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Pamela Thomas; children, Camelia Crowley (Ryan) of Byhalia, Alicia T. Hampton of Olive Branch; three sisters, Priscilla Brunson (Jerry) of Byhalia, Peggy Tomas, Norma Jean Thomas, both of Memphis, Elizabeth Horne of St. Louis, Ill.; two brothers, Russell Thomas (Barbara) of Nesbit, Dennis Thomas (Shirley) of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by five sisters, Rosie Faulkner, Genetta Thomas, Kathleen Cox, Lola Thomas, Sharon Rodgers; three brothers, Norman Thomas Jr., Liddell Thomas Sr. and Marshall Thomas Sr.
