Lottie Mae Mullins Payne

Lottie Mae Mullins Payne, 94, of Holly Springs, died May 11, 2024, at her home. She was a member of New Hope CME Church where she served on the usher board. She was retired from ICS Headstart.

Services were held at 2 p.m. on May 20 at New Hope CME Church. Rev. Doris Alexander officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her grandchildren Natasha Gipson, Santee Gipson both of Virginia Beach, Va., Kelvin Gipson of Holly Springs; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Payne Jr.; daughter, Bertha M. Payne Gipson; siblings, Alice Ayers, Joyce Scruggs, Mary Mullins, Sam Henry Mullins Jr., Eugene Mullins, Horace Mullins, Leroy Mullins, Freddie B. Mullins, Wayne Mullins, James Mullins, and S.P. Mullins.
