Lorine Hope

Lorine Hope, 92, of Byhalia, died January 25, 2024. She attended Mt. Moriah MB Church where she served on the mother's ministry.

Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel on Feb. 3 from 5-7 p.m. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Feb. 4 at Mt. Moriah MB Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves two sons, Lester Hope Jr., Bryant Hope (Elvira), both of Byhalia; daughter, Betty Myles of Byhalia; brothers, William Beard (Georgia), Major Beard Jr., both of Memphis, Tenn.; and 30 grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her sons, Larry Hope, Gary Hope; daughters, Willie Rine Smith, Dorothy Smith, Laverne Hope Crutcher; brothers, James Beard, Walter Beard; sisters, Ethel Walker, Dorothy Stinson, Lucy Jones and Ada Harris.
