Lonzo Wilson
Lonzo Wilson, 84, of Holly Springs, died July 13, 2021, at Holly Springs Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. He was a member of Wilkins Chapel CME Church where he was a member of the church choir and served on the steward board. He sang with Pleasant Grove Male Chorus. He was a forklift operator at U.S. Brick Company.
Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on July 19 at Yarbrough Chapel CME Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Min. Lexine Smith officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
He leaves two daughters, Jennifer Rayford of Horn Lake, Lorraine Brandon of Chicago, Ill.; four sons, Mark Byers of Nolensville, Tenn., Curtis Pryor of Oswego, Ill., Michael Brandon of Chicago, Lonzo Wilson Jr. of Holly Springs; one sister, Anna Robinson of Chicago; two brothers, Leroy Wilson Jr., Lenon Wilson, both of Holly Springs; 16 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Myrtha Curtis Wilson; brother, Tommy Lee Wilson; sisters, Arnetta Thomas and Leola Carter.
