Lonnie Harris

Lonnie Harris, 90, of Byhalia, died July 11, 2019, at Methodist Hospice Residence in Memphis, Tenn. The widower of Annie Pearl Shipp Harris and Inez Mays Harris, he was a member of Hearn Grove MB Church in Byhalia. He was a retired constructor laborer.

Services were held at 11 a.m. on July 15 at Hearn Grove MB Church. Rev. Archie Bowen officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves five daughters, Hazel Neely, Margaret Harper, Marietta Tunstall, Vickie Harris, all of Victoria, Evelyn Malone of Byhalia; four sons, Opher Lee Neely Jr. and Lonnie Frank Harris, both of Victoria, Winfred Neely of Olive Branch, Luke Harris of Mt. Juliet, Tenn.; one brother, Nathaniel Harris Sr. of Memphis; and 25 grandchildren.
