Lonnie Ester King Jr.

Lonnie Ester King Jr., 50, of Holly Springs, died Jan. 19, 2020. He was member of Pleasant Grove MB Church in Red Banks. He attended Holly Springs High School but graduated from Kentucky Job Corp Center. He was an independent contractor who specialized in underground construction.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on Jan. 25 at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries in Holly Springs. Evangelist Linda Terry officiated. Burial was in Bell Grove MB Church Cemetery in Chulahoma. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves three daughters, Keneshia Vaughn, Stephaine Hampton, Keanna Mathis, all of Holly Springs; two sons, Jerome Vaughn, Lonnie King Jr.; his mother, Georgia King; five sisters, Sharron Washington (Michael), Andrea Hamm (Donald), Felecia Walton (Arthur), Teresa Porter (Lajaune), Chereda Daugherty (Shamon); his grandmother, Minister Beatrice King Davis; a special friend, Patricia Campbell; and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ester King Jr.; maternal grandparents, Johnny and Josephine Byers; and paternal grandfather, Ester King Sr.
