Lloyd "Pepper" Ivy

Lloyd "Pepper" Ivy, 84, of Holly Springs, died December 30, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. He was a member of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness and retired from the maintenance department for the City of Davenport, Iowa.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Jan. 14 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Leola Leake Ivy; children, Toreen Lynn Learned of DePue, Ill., Lloyd Ivy II of Streater, Ill., Donna Rene Ivy Weiss of Streater, Ill., Rhonda Tane Leake Johnson of Rockford, Ill., Sherlene Leak Ali of Frisco, Texas, Troy Leake of Davenport, Iowa; sisters, Lena Mae Simpson of Kansas City, Mo., Danielle Ivy Cundiff of Beaumont, Texas; 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Doyle and Ella Mae Smith Ivy; first wife, Martha Geraldine Powell Ivy; siblings, Ruth Hatch, Elna Burch, Jessie Ivy, David Ivy, and Doyle Ivy Jr.
