Lizzie Mae Malone Ingram

Lizzie Mae Malone Ingram, 86, of Waterford, died May 6, 2019, at her home. The widow of Adolph Ingram, she was a member of Hamilton Chapel CME Church where she served on the church usher board and was a former church stewardess and class leader. She was a cook for the University of Mississippi for 50 years and retired in 2012.

Visitation will be on May 9, from 1-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and on May 10, from 10-10:55 a.m. at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Services will be held at 11 a.m. at the church. Rev. Billy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Hamilton Chapel Church Cemetery.

She leaves two sons, Adell Ingram (Vanessa) of Chicago, Ill., Cecil Ingram (Lora) of Waterford; four daughters, Dorothy Turnage (Johnny) of Waterford, Sandra Jeffries (Alfred), Melissa Ingram, Christabel Ingram, all of Waterford; one brother, Robert Finley (Geneva) of Canton; 23 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Russell Malone.
