Lizzie B. Hunt Franklin

Lizzie B. Hunt Franklin, 78, of Memphis, Tenn., died Oct. 16, 2019, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis. The widow of Beavis Franklin Jr., she was a member of Sims Chapel MB Church in Michigan City where she served as an usher and on the program committee. She was a retired laborer for Ivory & Pond in Memphis.

Visitation will be held on Oct. 25 from 2-6 p.m. at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and Oct. 26 from 1:30-2:25 p.m. at Sims Chapel MB Church. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Rev. Kietron Mormon will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves three sisters, Dessie Hunt and Clara Dale of Memphis, Stephanie Brandy of Shuqualak; two brothers, Jessie Hunt of Scooba, and Frank Hunt Jr. of Shuqualak.

She was proceded in death by two brothers, Willie Lee Hunt and Ed Hunt.
