Linda Lou Holden Beard

Linda Lou Holden Beard, 76, of Hickory Flat, died Oct. 13, 2020, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was a member of Reid's Gift MB Church in Potts Camp and a former seamstress at Landau Uniform Company in New Albany.

Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. on Oct. 16 at Reid's Gift MB Church Cemetery. Pastor Jeffery Bohanna officiated. J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She leaves her husband, James Beard; three sons, James "Flipper" Beard, Tony Beard, both of Tupelo, Greg Beard of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Geneva Marion of Potts Camp, Ruth Wallace of Como; eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Inez Walker, Yvonne Cannon; four brothers, A.D. Holden, Willie Frank "Billy" Holden, Henry Lee "Sonny" Holden, and Benjamin "Butch" Holden.
