Linda Kate Boyd

Linda Kate Boyd, 61, of Holly Springs, died Oct. 25, 2019, at Alliance HealthCare System in Holly Springs. She was a member of Adolphus Chapel CME Church and a former lineworker at ITT Thompson.

Visitation will be held on Nov. 1, from 2-7 p.m., with the family from 6-7 p.m., at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home; and Nov. 2, from 2:30-3:25 p.m. at New Dimension Salt and Light Ministries. Services will be held at 3:30 p.m. Pastor Billy Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Adolphus Chapel CME Church Cemetery.

She leaves five children, Michelle Boyd, Tanya Boyd, LaToya Sanders, Jeremy Boyd, Courtney Boyd, all of Holly Springs; eight sisters, Edna Boyd, Parthinia Boyd, Laney Mae Jones, Cheryl Jones, Valena Howell, Johnnie Smith, all of Holly Springs, Mamie Pritchard of Red Banks, Nicole Stewart of Detroit, Mich.; a very special friend, Johnny Walker; 10 grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Georgia Burton Jones; her father, Henry Boyd Sr.; and three brothers, Henry Boyd Jr., James Earl Jones and Edward Jones.
