Lillie Mae Matthews Oliver

Lillie Mae Matthews Oliver, 91, of Holly Springs, died March 2, 2022, at DeSoto Health Care Center in Southaven. She was a member of Strawberry MB Church where she served on the Mother's Board. She was a homemaker.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 9 from 2:30-5:30 p.m. and on March 10 at Strawberry MB Church from 1212:55 p.m. with services at 1 p.m. Pastor Frederick Fluker will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves her daughters, Doris Oliver Windom of Memphis, Tenn., Bettie Badie of Holly Springs, Sherida Peggs of Jackson, Tenn., Shirley Oliver of Southaven; sons, Fierce Oliver Jr. of Nashville, Tenn., Timothy Oliver Sr. of Holly Springs; sisters, Flora Pierce, Marva Matthews, Sonia Mitchell, all of Memphis; 17 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and five great-greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fierce Oliver Sr.; children, Marlean Oliver Kimbrough, Leonard Oliver, David Oliver; siblings, Regina Perry, Dorothy Matthews, Melvin Matthews, Wheeler "Bo" Matthews and Andrew Matthews.
