Levi "Papa" Reed

Levi "Papa" Reed, 77, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Victoria, died March 20, 2020, at Harbor View Nursing and Rehabilitation in Memphis. He was a member of Antioch MB Church in Victoria, a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran. He was a retired supervisor for ADT in Memphis.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 27 from 2-6 p.m.; and at St. Paul MB Church in Byhalia on March 28 from 10-10:55 a.m. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Clennon Saulsberry will officiate. Burial will be in Saulsberry Family Cemetery in Byhalia.

He leaves his wife, Virginia Saulsberry Reed; a son, Terrance Reed of Memphis; three sisters, Alfreda DeBerry of Byhalia, Dinah Terry of Collierville, Tenn., Leola Jefferson of Memphis; four brothers, Robert Reed Jr. of Memphis, Joseph Reed and James Reed, both of Byhalia, Eldridge Bell of Salina, Kan.; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
