Leslie Lee King Sr.
Leslie Lee King Sr., 94, of Holly Springs, died March 27, 2020, at his home. He was a member of Chulahoma MB Church where he was a church deacon, Sunday school superintendent, former president of the church choir, cemetery caretaker and former trustee. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a retired farmer.
Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on April 1, from 2-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on April 2 at Chulahoma MB Church Cemetery. Rev. Lonnie Whitfield will officiate.
He leaves his wife, Euretha Conrad King; one son, Leslie Lee King Jr. of Holly Springs; three daughters, Bonnie Thompson of West Chester, Ill., Gwendolyn Nichols of Wesley Chapel, Fla., Vernita Johnson of Greenville; one sister, Barbara Pleasant of Memphis, Tenn.; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
