Leslie Jean Johnson

Leslie Jean Johnson, 69, of Memphis, Tenn., formerly of Byhalia, died March 9, 2022, at Methodist Hospital in Germantown, Tenn. She was a member of Oakville MB Church in Memphis and a former member of St. Matthews MB Church in Byhalia. She was a quality control supervisor at Johnson Bryce Printing Inc.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 18 from 3-6 p.m. and at St. Matthews MB Church on March 19 from 11-11:55 a.m. with services at 12 noon. Rev. Gregory Hughes will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She leaves a daughter, Kweilyn Wiseman of Memphis; son, Fredrel Stephens Sr. of Memphis; sisters, Mary Johnson Harper, Joyce Malone, both of Memphis, Patricia ThompsonHolly of Collierville, Tenn.; brothers, John "Sonny" Hearns, Edward Johnson, Mitchell Thompson, all of Memphis, Orendeff Steele of Collierville, Tolbert Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by a son, LaKeith Wiseman; mother, Helen Louise Johnson; father, Orendoff Thompson; siblings, Paula G. Thompson and William Richmond.
