Leroy Russell Nichols Jr.

Leroy Russell Nichols Jr., 68, of Potts Camp, died Dec. 2, 2020, at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. He was a Baptist, a telecommunications specialist and a U.S. Army veteran.

Services were held at 3 p.m. on Dec. 5 at Holly Springs Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Nichols Family Cemetery in Potts Camp.

He leaves his wife, Scarlett Nichols; two sons, Timothy Nichols (Renee), Chad Nichols, both of Potts Camp; a daughter, Lori Ann Donnell (Kenneth) of Potts Camp; three brothers, Donald Nichols of Potts Camp, Kenneth Nichols of Waterford, Gordon Nichols of Somerville, Tenn.; four sisters, Peggy Lucile Rhoda of Lumberton, Edith Ann Horgan of Waterford, Rita Lois Waddle, Linda Anita Nichols, both of Potts Camp; 14 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
