Leroy Hicks

Leroy Hicks, 79, of Holly Springs, died April 7, 2022, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital. He was a member of Hopewell No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church where he was a member of the male chorus.

Visitation will be held at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel on April 15 from 4-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on April 16 at Holly Springs Multi-Purpose Building. Burial will be in Hopewell No. 2 Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

He leaves his wife, Mary L. Hicks; two sons, Barry Hicks (Sonja) of Memphis, Tenn., Dwayne Hicks of Holly Springs; a daughter, Rosemary Hicks of Holly Springs; one brother, Willie Hicks (Mary) of Clarksville, Tenn.; nine sisters, Lillian Brooks of Clarksville, Tenn., Rubye Bailey of Chicago, Ill., Addie Boga, Lavern H. Zinn (Alfred), Charlene Moore, Arlene Wicks, Margaret H. McDonald (Charles), all of Holly Springs, Katie H. Autry (Billy) of Oxford, Ruthie H. Gatewood (Elester) of Holly Springs; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Wright and Lee A. Hicks; and one granddaughter, Sheneka Hicks.
