Leonia Nabors Hardaway

Leonia Nabors Hardaway, 77, of Holly Springs, died June 7, 2020, at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. The widow of Tommy Hardaway Jr., she was a member of Mt. Newell MB Church in Red Banks and a homemaker.

Visitation will be held on June 12 at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home from 4-6 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on June 13 at Cottrell Memorial Garden in Holly Springs. Rev. Robert Hardaway will officiate.

She leaves two daughters, Cheryl Fant of Byhalia, Jereline Hardaway of Holly Springs; one son, Tony Hardaway of Byhalia; five stepdaughters, Patricia Nesby, Barbara Bullock, Daphne Hardaway, all of Memphis, Wanda Payne and Marcia Jeffries, both of Holly Springs; one stepson, Jeffery Hardaway of Huntsville, Texas; five sisters, Mamie Neely, Deloise Milton, Linda Nabors, all of Memphis, Shirley House, Bobbie LeSure, both of Holly Springs; three brothers, Roosevelt Nabors, Jessie Nabors, James Nabors, all of Holly Springs; 14 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Teresa Hardaway; siblings, Eddie Lee Nabors, Thomas Nabors Jr. and Joe Bell Lawson.
