Leon Jones

Leon Jones, 60, of Byhalia, died April 20, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. He was a member of Mt. Zion Taska MB Church.

Services were held at 1 p.m. on May 1 at Mt. Zion Taska MB Church. Pastor LaDaryl Odom officiated. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

He leaves his wife, Annie Jones; four sons, LaDerrick Jones (Meagan) of Memphis, Shun Jones (Lashaya) of New York, Deoundra and Christopher Jones, both of Byhalia; two sisters, Lillie Echoles of Victoria, Anna Jones (Tyrone) of Lamar; six brothers, Willie Jones (Louella), JMichael Jones (Tomekia), both of Lamar, Jerry Jones (Tina), Cleo Jones (Debra), Clyde Jones, Robert Lee Jones Jr., all of Memphis; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Lillie B. Jones and Robert Lee Jones Sr.; seven brothers, Charles, Glendale, Walter, Delmon, Roger, George, Evone; and a granddaughter, LaDerika Jones.
