Lenon Jones

Lenon Jones, 79, of Holly Springs, died March 3, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-DeSoto in Southaven. He was a member of Mt. Moriah MB Church where he served as a deacon. He was retired from Marshall County Road and Bridge Department.

Visitation will be held at J.F. Brittenum and Son Funeral Home on March 11 from 2-5:30 p.m. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on March 12 at Mt. Moriah MB Church Cemetery. Rev. R.J. Wilson will officiate.

He leaves his wife, Flossie Washington Jones of Merrillville, Ind.; daughter, Catherine Burgess of Holly Springs; sister, Christine McGarr of Old Hickory, Tenn.; niece (caregiver) Erma Riley of Holly Springs; and one granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his daughters, Lekesia Jenkins, Lynette Hardin; brothers, Lawrence Jones, L.C. Jones, Willie Edward Jones, Charlie Lee Jones and Eddie Lee Jones.
